HONEY & BEES! A Talk on Local & Natural Beekeeping

Love honey and respect the service bees give to our planet? Come to this talk to learn about bees, honey, and beekeeping. Nate Sumner, Farm Manager at Heritage Prairie Farm, will share his expertise about bees, chemical-free beekeeping techniques, and his passion and commitment to sustainability and high-quality food. This is one of several presentations the Library intends to offer throughout the year about sustainable living and Earth matters. Our goal is to bring the community in conversation on what we feel are timely, important topics. Registration required for this event. Seating is limited to 40. The Farm will provide honey samples to taste! Frankfort card holders have priority registration. Non-FPLD patrons may register one week prior to the event. Go to www.frankfortlibrary.org or call 815-534-6173 for information or to register.
