Thousands Without Power in Lincoln-Way After Storm
The Sunday storm knocked out power to residents in the Frankfort and New Lenox areas.
The sun came out after Sunday afternoon's severe storm, but that was about the only light thousands of Lincoln-Way residents were going to get until power outages were remedied.
ComEd reported more than 3,400 customers were without power Sunday afternoon in and around Frankfort and south of New Lenox.
A call to find out when ComEd expected to bring the customers back on line was not immediately returned.
