What can people learn about when they read your blog?  

A Little of This & That is about life as a small business owner, a women business owner, a downtown business owner and a Frankfort resident of 26 years. The blog is written by Rachel Gilmore. 

Tell us a bit about yourself -- where are you from, what’s your background? 

I have been very fortunate to have been a stay at home mom for over 15 years. Homemaker, Carpool, School Volunteer, raising my kids was my first priority.

Now with both my boys away at college the time was right do something that I always wanted to do, own my own business.

I have an eye for decorating and a love for shopping quaint boutiques, so I put that combination together in a gift shop, and opened This & That Gifts in 2010.

With the help of my husband Mike, we did our research, shopped the trade shows, found our historic building in downtown Frankfort, and here we are now approaching our fourth year.
