Here's How to Get Around the Fall Fest, Parking and Shuttle Bus

A map of the downtown Frankfort Fall Festival.

The Frankfort Fall Festival Committee has arranged for a shuttle bus for visitors moving from the parking lot areas to the festival site.

A free shuttle bus will be running continuously from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday and from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. on Monday. The shuttles will run from the official parking lots on White Street north of Old Plank Trail near Elwood Street.

Shuttle Bus Service provided to and from lots south on LaGrange Road

  • Paved parking is available in the lot at Peace Community Church, 21300 S. LaGrange Road. The cost of parking there is $10. This lot fills up fast.
  • Another good parking option is the grassy lot run by Frankfort Boy Scout Troop #270. It's located about one mile south of Route 30 on LaGrange Road at W. Nebraska Street. The cost of parking there is $10. It's considered a donation to the troop.
The walking distance from both of these parking areas is about five blocks.

Bike Corral and Roller Blades

The Old Town Homeowners Association will be sponsoring a bicycle corral for all bicyclists and roller bladers who visit the Fall Festival by way of the Old Plank Trail.

The bike corral is adjacent to Old Plank Trail right in the heart of downtown Frankfort near White Street. Watch for the signs. There will be a $2 donation for bikes and $1 for roller blades. The corral will be staffed from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. On Labor Day the corral will be staffed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Handicapped Parking

The Trolley Barn parking Lot, located at Nebraska Street and Center Road, is the designated lot for handicapped motorists. An appropriate permit must be displayed. The cost is a $10.00 donation to The Frankfort Dog Park Organization.

Pets

No animals are allowed at the festival with the exception of service animals and service animal trainees.
