Woman Bites Home Depot Loss Prevention Officer
When a store loss prevention officer tried to apprehend Ashley Fleming for using a fraudulent credit card, she bit him in the hand, police say.
A Chicago woman faces eight felony charges after police report that she bit a loss prevention officer at Home Depot when he caught her using fraudulent credit cards. Ashley S. Fleming, 26, of the 7600 block of S. Shore Drive in Chicago, is charged with burglary, aggravated battery to a police officer and five counts of forgery, all of which are felonies. She is also charged with obstructing a police officer, a misdemeanor, and one misdemeanor count of forgery. Frankfort police officers responded to reports of a disturbance at Home Depot at 2 p.m. on Jan. 3.
