An Olympia Fields man will appear in court after Frankfort police found pot and a weapon in his car. Eduardo Ramos, 23, of the 900 block of Wingate Road in Olympia Fields, was issued notices to appear in court for unlawful use of a weapon and cannabis possession at 1:40 p.m. Jan. 15 at the intersection of Lincoln Highway and Locust Street. He was also cited for speeding and driving without insurance. Frankfort police performed a traffic stop on Ramos after an officer noticed his car speeding in a construction zone. While conducting the stop, the officer smelled burnt cannabis coming from inside the car, police report.
