Park District Hosts Joint Garage Sale and Blood Drive
Both events will take place on Saturday at the Founders Community Center.
The Frankfort Park District will host two events — a garage sale for kids and a community blood drive — in conjunction with one another on Saturday. The fourth annual Kids Garage Sale offers parents an opportunity to get rid of post-holiday clutter while also teaching their children about buying, selling and financial responsibility. For a $15 table rental and advertising fee, kids aged 5-14 are able to interact with customers while selling clothes, toys, books and some big-ticket items. “It teaches them to talk to other people and answer questions,” said Cali DeBella, special events coordinator for the Frankfort Park District.
