Police Blotter: Battered Over a Bet

A disagreement over a bet landed one Frankfort man in jail on Thanksgiving.

THURSDAY, NOV. 22 Shortly before 2 a.m. on Thanksgiving day, police were called to Tom Kelly's Restaurant in the 400 block of DeGroate Road. According to the report, Jeremiah Driscoll, 24, Frankfort, was arrested for allegedly fighting with a man over a disagreement about a bet.  Driscoll was charged with battery and posted bond.    Police blotter information is provided by the New Lenox Police Department.
