The Bears are back at their winning ways after Jay Cutler's return, and now they get a home game against a Seattle Seahawks team that's terrible on the road. Predict the score prior to Sunday's Bears game. The reader who correctly guesses the score, or comes closest to guessing the score, will get a Patch tote bag. At the end of the season, we'll have a random drawing among the weekly winners for a larger prize. As shocking as it sounds, not everyone in the Chicago area Sunday was glued to a TV set, watching the Chicago Bears make short work of the outmatched Seattle Seahawks in the NFC divisional playoffs. It sounds far-fetched, but it's true. That's why we asked area residents who ventured out to Frankfort's Winter on the Green event, which ran during the same time as the game, why they chose spending an afternoon outside at a winter carnival over cheering on the Monsters of the Midway. The forecasts from Frankfort citizens shouldn't surprise you. Well, one might.
After a bye week, the Chicago Bears return to the business of football, facing the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC divisional round today at noon at Soldier Field. We've told you where you can go locally to check out the name. Now, we tell you how some Frankfort residents predict the game will turn out. Prediction: 22-21, Bears "I lived the first 21 years of my life in Seattle, which is Seahawks territory, and I have now lived 22 years of my life in Frankfort, which is Bears territory.
