Will County Sheriff's Office reports, Feb. 26-27 • iPod, iPad and 2 Wallets Stolen From Unlocked Cars • School Bus Rollover on Harlem.

TUESDAY, FEB. 26 Three residents reported that four cars were burgled on the 100 block of Michael Lane in New Lenox. Stolen items include two wallets, a cell phone, an iPod, an iPad and miscellaneous change. All the vehicles involved were unlocked. Like the Crime-n-Shame Facebook page for tales of mischief and woe from all over the Chicago area.  WEDNESDAY, FEB. 27 Deputies responded at 7:19 a.m. to a school bus crash on the 24000 block of Harlem Avenue in Frankfort. The bus was occupied by the driver and a 12-year-old female student from Crete School District 201-U. School Bus Driver Loses Control, Drives into Ditch

The crash happened early Wednesday morning. The bus held the driver, and one student from Crete-Monee District 201-U.

Deputies of the Will County Sheriff’s Office responded to a school bus crash at 7:19 a.m. on Harlem Avenue, north of Dralle Road. The bus was occupied by the driver and a 12-year-old student from Crete-Monee School District 201-U at the time of the crash, according to reports from the sheriff’s office. Monee EMS treated both occupants at the scene. Neither was transported to a hospital. The student was taken into her mother’s custody. The driver said he lost control of the bus, when the vehicle’s rear wheels went off the right side of the road, sending it into a ditch.
