Frankfort residents gathered to watch the lights go on at Breidert Green and meet Santa.

Frankfort residents gathered Thursday evening on Breidert Green for the Frankfort Tree Lighting Ceremony. Singers from both Hickory Creek Middle School and Lincoln-Way East High School performed holiday tunes. Frankfort Mayor Jim Holland invited all the children in attendance up onstage to turn on the lights on the green. After the tree lighting, Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived on a fire engine and took their seats on the green to spend the evening listening to the holiday wishes of Frankfort children.
