The EPA reports this naturally-occuring radioactive gas is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the U.S. Luckily, the state is offering an inexpensive solution for residents to test their homes and protect their families. I took our brand new preschool graduate to the pediatrician for his five-year check up last week, and the doctor said that the main concern at his age is safety. He questioned the child: Doctor: What do we do when we first get in the car? Child: We buckle up! Doctor: Good, that’s correct. ok...so you have to "order" the tests...are you kidding me? Don't you think by making them available at a local store would possibly save more lives and/or bring some much needed attention to the seriousness of this problem??? I never even heard this before now..is it just me?   more ›
