FRIDAY, MAY 17 Joshua M. Brantley, 21, of the 300 block of North Locust Street, Frankfort, was charged with driving under the influence, DUI with a blood-alcohol level greater than 0.08, driving without insurance and driving on unsafe tires, according to a report. SATURDAY, MAY 11 Herald Dean Gerdez, 59, of the 23000 block of South Pine Valley Drive, Frankfort, was charged with driving under the influence, improper lane use, improper lighting and driving without insurance, according to a report. Police stopped Gerdez at about 9:55 p.m. near the intersection of 108th Avenue and Lincoln Highway. He is due on June 5 in Will County court. TUESDAY, MAY 7 A 19-year-old Tinley Park man was issued an ordinance violation for possession of marijuana and was cited for speeding, according to a report. He was stopped at about 1:23 a.m. near the intersection of 95th Avenue and Lincoln Highway. He is due on June 13 in Will County court. THURSDAY, MAY 2 Elizabeth T. Spalliero, 33, of the 1300 block of Brown Avenue, Joliet, was charged with retail theft, according to a report. She was arrested at about 12:25 p.m. in the 11000 block of Lincoln Highway. Woman Charged with Felony Theft After Allegedly Stealing From Frankfort Kohl's

Nena Phillips allegedly attempted to take $602 worth of jeans and shirts from the department store, before she was apprehended in the process.

A Park Forest woman was arrested on Oct. 19 in Frankfort for allegedly damaging and attempting to steal clothing from a Kohl’s department store. Nena Phillips, 26, of the 100 block E. Sycamore Drive, was charged with retail theft, a felony, and criminal damage to property, a misdemeanor. An officer was called at 6 p.m. to the Frankfort Kohl’s store on the 1100 block of Lincoln Highway. When he arrived, a loss prevention officer had Phillips in custody for retail theft. Phillips had allegedly attempted to steal several jeans and shirts worth a total of $602. Phillips also allegedly removed the security sensors from the clothing, causing damage to the merchandise. Phillips was arrested and booked at the Frankfort Police Department before …
