MONDAY, DEC. 31 Unknown persons broke into a pole barn on the 2000 block of S. Spencer Road in New Lenox and stole three saws, a torpedo heater, a hedge trimmer, a brick saw and miscellaneous hand tools. Like the Crime-n-Shame Facebook page for tales of mischief and woe from all over the Chicago area. TUESDAY, JAN. 1 Unknown persons broke into a residence on the 20000 block of S. Hilltop Road in Mokena and ransacked it. It was unclear what was stolen at the time that the incident was reported. Police report information is provided by the Frankfort Police Department, Will County Sheriff's Office and other law enforcement agencies. Charges are not evidence of guilt.
