Judge Will Hear Charges Against Former D210 Employee On Same Day

Michael Angel, a former District 210 employee accused of trespassing and of running from a Frankfort police officer a few days later, will go before a judge on both charges on March 9.

Separate cases against a former Lincoln-Way High School District 210 employee accused of trespassing will be heard at the same time in March, with the possibility of being resolved collectively. Michael Angel, 42, of Frankfort, was accused last spring of trespassing on school grounds after being fired. He pleaded guilty in mid-August, receiving one year of supervision, but failed to show to subsequent status hearings in late August and November. Prosecutors were looking to modify the terms of a settlement giving Angel permission to coach youth football on school grounds on certain weekends. This fellow is a coach for the Falcons Football league. Many of us parents want to know how the Falcons board finds this man as an appropriate coach, i.e. a mentor and leader to our young kids?
