FRANKFORT — Prosecutors have decided not to revoke a plea deal with Michael Angel, a former Lincoln-Way High School District 210 employee accused of trespassing on school grounds last spring, allowing the man’s one-year term of supervision to stand, court records show. As for the charge that Angel ran from a Frankfort police officer with a court warrant in November—after missing court hearings—Angel pleaded guilty and received 100 hours of community service, in addition to another 12 months of supervision, according to court records. A former Lincoln-Way High School District 210 employee pleaded not guilty to criminal trespassing on school grounds. Michael J. Angel, 43, was accused last month of walking on Lincoln-Way East High School with a youth baseball organization, in violation of an agreement he signed with administrators in February 2009 stating he was not allowed back on district property without the consent of the superintendent. He was arrested last spring for a similar offense and pleaded guilty, but then failed to show to followup court hearings. Public records show that a "Michael J. UPDATED: Former L-Way Employee Allegedly Trespassed at East... Again

While awaiting his court date for allegedly trespassing on school grounds, former Lincoln-Way employee Michael J. Angel allegedly trespassed on school grounds.

Michael J. Angel, 42, of Frankfort, is again accused of stepping on school grounds without permission after being fired from Lincoln-Way High School District 210. According to court records, Angel was charged with criminal trespass for a Jan. 22 incident. This comes nine months after a security guard reported seeing Angel's car parked at Lincoln-Way Central at 3 a.m April 19. Angel, a former employee of D210, signed an agreement with administrators on Feb. 20, 2009, stating he is not allowed back on school property without the consent of the superintendent, said Will County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Kathy Hoffmeyer. UPDATE: Police Arrest Former D210 Employee for Outstanding Warrant

Michael Angel also was charged with obstructing justice after fleeing a Frankfort Police officer Tuesday. 'I got scared, and I ran away,' Angel told a judge Wednesday.

A former Lincoln-Way High School District 210 employee accused of trespassing on school grounds after being fired was arrested by Frankfort Police on Tuesday on an outstanding failure-to-appear warrant that was issued this month. Michael J. Angel, 42, of Frankfort, also was charged with obstructing justice after he fled from an officer who saw him entering an apartment complex on Nebraska Street on Tuesday, said Commander Kevin Keegan.  READ: Warrant Out for Former D210 Employee Charged With Trespassing When the officer approached him, Angel fled on foot and was eventually apprehended in the 100 block of Center Road, Keegan added. Exactly...I guess he was forced out but not technically "fired." He was fired in spirit though simply because the district likes to avoid bad publicity. The fact that they helped him find another position is sickening though, because if LW is supposed to be all about kids, then how could they send someone to work with other kids on their recommendation? Angel, 42, of Frankfort, who was charged last spring with two counts of criminal trespassing on property at Lincoln-Way Central and Lincoln-Way East high schools, failed to appear in court twice, according to Will County court records. A former Lincoln-Way High School District 210 employee pleaded not guilty to charges that he trespassed in two of the schools after being terminated. Michael Angel, 42, of Frankfort, is charged with two counts of criminal trespassing on property at Lincoln-Way Central and Lincoln-Way East. He last worked for the district a few years ago, but a security guard at Central told police he saw Angel's van parked at the school on multiple occasions, and at 3 a.m. on April 19 he took down the license plate. Angel told police he was looking for a box he left at the schools that contained personal paperwork. After paying a $200 bond last month, following a warrant that was issued for his arrest, Angel pleaded not guilty to the charges earlier this …

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a former Lincoln-Way High School District 210 employee, who was charged with trespassing in two of the schools after he was terminated. Michael Angel, 42, of Frankfort, was charged with two counts of criminal trespassing on property at Lincoln-Way Central and Lincoln-Way East, according to the Will County Sheriff's Department. Angel last worked for District 210 "a few years ago," department spokeswoman Kathy Hoffmeyer said. She did not know what job Angel had while employed by District 210. Hoffmeyer said a security guard at Central had seen Angel's vehicle, a white Dodge van, parked at the school on multiple occasions.
