Open Date Set for Mariano's, Residents Concerned About Store
A representative from the Hunt Club condominium development said that residents are worried about noise and light pollution from the new Mariano's.

An opening date is set for the Mariano’s Fresh Market location under construction at the intersection of La Grange Road and Lincoln Highway — Frankfort Village Board members say that the store is scheduled to open its doors on March 5. The board discussed the opening of the upscale grocery store during its Feb. 4 meeting. “It really is going to be an exciting occasion for our community,” said Trustee Mike Stevens. Market employees will begin stocking shelves in the coming weeks. The 74,000-square-foot project is estimated to bring upwards of 400 fulltime and part time jobs to Frankfort. Wow,Frankfort must be getting hard-up,I remember years ago they were very selective of what business;s if any they let in,probably getting ready for the CHANGE that is coming to Frankfort and America. more ›
