L-W East Boys Soccer Prepares for District 210 Tour

Lincoln-Way East's boys soccer team hopes to find some scoring against its sister schools, beginning later this week. Lincoln-Way North girls tennis placed third at Sandburg Invitational.

The Lincoln-Way East boys soccer team has struggled recently to put the ball in the back of the next, which has hurt its chances to come away with victories. Still, the Griffins are playing competitive soccer as their defense remains stingy. The result has been a four-game stretch of winless matches. East has not won since the Griffins beat Manteno 4-2 on Sept. 6. After losing to St. Ignatius, the Griffins have escaped their last three matches with draws despite only scoring one goal. After traveling to Thornton on Tuesday, the Griffins will begin their tour of District 210, playing Lincoln-Way West on Thursday, Lincoln-Way North on Saturday and Lincoln-Way Central next Tuesday.
