Car Search in Frankfort Reveals Pot and Pills, Leads to Felony Charges

Eric D. Chojnowski, of Orland Hills, was transporting 20 grams of cannabis and several bags of prescription drugs when he was arrested by Frankfort police.

An Orland Hills man faces felony drug charges after Frankfort police discovered a substantial amount of pot and pills during a roadside assist. Eric D. Chojnowski, 21, of the 900 block of W. 167th Street, was charged with the manufacture and delivery of cannabis, a felony, on Nov. 10. He was also charged with multiple counts of possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. Additionally, Chojnowski was issued citations for parking in a roadway and driving while intoxicated. Frankfort police received a call for a motors assist at 4:44 a.m. at the corner of Harlem Avenue and Prestwick Drive in Frankfort.
