Frankfort celebrated the holidays with two days of seasonal festivities in the village's historic downtown.

The Frankfort Historic Business Association hosted the 27th annual Christkindl celebration on Dec. 8 and 9. Christkindl celebrates Frankfort's German heritage. The weekend also included horse-drawn wagon rides, cookie decorating, holiday crafts, Santa's secret workshop and a pet blessing on Breidert Green, among other events. The 8th annual Cookie Walk was also held during the weekend. Ticketholders visited various downtown shops and received a cookie at each store, collecting more than 20 cookies throughout the day.
