Obituary: Remembering Bill Dyer
A Lincoln-Way East graduate and musician, Dyer, 24, passed away during the weekend.
William “Bill” W. Dyer, 24, of Frankfort, passed away in his sleep on Dec. 29 due to unknown causes. Family and friends remember Dyer as a happy, warm and loving young man. “He had a million friends,” said Dyer’s father, William. “He was the guy that made everybody laugh.” Dyer graduated from Lincoln-Way East High School with the class of 2007. He was studying sound design and recording arts at Tribeca Flashpoint Media Arts Academy in Chicago at the time of his passing. Music was among Dyer’s greatest passions. A drummer, pianist and guitarist, he started his first band, Small Town Nobodys, while attending Hickory Creek Middle School.
