L-W North Grad Allegedly Stabs Friend 25 Times in Rome

Reid Alexander Schepis is accused of stabbing Fabio Malpeso after spending Halloween night drinking and taking ecstasy.

Reid Alexander Schepis, a freshman at John Cabot University, allegedly stabbed longtime friend Fabio Malpeso 25 times after a Halloween of partying, drinking and doing drugs in Rome, reports The Huffington Post. Schepis graduated from Lincoln-Way North High School in 2010. Reports from ABC News state that Schepis, 20, told authorities he had never used drugs prior to the evening of Oct. 31, when he consumed ecstasy with alcohol. After an evening of partying at a Rome nightclub, Schepis and Malpeso, 19, went to Malpeso’s apartment, said ABC News. Malpeso then went to sleep.
