If Griffin fans had any concerns about the team's quarterback position with Blake Winkler graduating, those worries should be allayed thanks to his replacement's performance at a recent high school combine. Lincoln-Way East High School junior Tommy Fuessel impressed college scouts at the 2012 Nike Football SPARQ Combine on April 7 in Lake Barrington by running a combine-best 4.46 40-yard-dash and ranking in the top five at the event, according to the ESPN HS website.
