That's far too simple an explanation. The subject far more complicated. If you are as educated asRead More you say you should know that. That's a topic for another day.

I tried to be a big pusher of the vote no to adding the 2 new schools. It's as if no-one wanted toRead More see into the future and realize the "cost" of the bonds. And the administration did see and realize the whole house of cards was built with fake money...they just tried to keep the normal joe from realizing it. You are 100% correct and thank you for putting your 2 cents in.

I would like to nominate Children's Country Club in Frankfort. They have taken care of all 4 of myRead More children throughout the years, and have been a big part of helping them grown into wonderful teenagers, and soon to be adults. The staff is wonderful, and even hugs my kids when they see them when we are out in the community. A wonderful place to send your kids, without worries while you have to be at work.

Although this is not a child day care facility I would like to nominate K9 Tailshakers Doggy DaycareRead More and Boarding. They take excellent care of your dogs while you're at work or on vacation. Some people don't have human children - but the canine kids are just as important. Thank you!

It is a honorable thing to help feed the children. The issue I have with this plan that Good ShepardRead More Church is doing are 3 fold; 1. there is no way that 116,000 meals with feed all the hungry children of the world. 2. Why are we so focused on children in other countries and feeding them when we have our own hungry children here in the USA. How many children here go to bed hungry? How many arrive at school hungry? How are we to expect these children to focus on their studies when they haven't had anything to eat to fuel their brains? I know, and completely understand that there are hungry children all over this world and it saddens me that due to circumstances beyond our control, these children do without. I'm not hard hearted, but it breaks my heart moreso to see children go hungry in our country/ state. Our Children are our future. 3. Finally, why do we, as a nation care more about other countries and what is going on than our own? I think about what they tell you when you get on an airplane: always put the oxygen mask on yourself first, then do your children, meaning if we don't take care of ourselves ( as a nation) we won't be able to take care of anyone else.
