I don't feel sorry for this jerk at all. He deserves everything he has coming to him. I guess youRead More have to drink alot when you live a double life. He has 1 family, then another secret one on the side, in the same town of Frankfort just a few miles away. It's all public record. Look at property purchases for Will County. He's an arrogant jerk who deserves what's coming to him.

Remember this Benny G and all you other scum sucking Liberals out there. The police in these ghetto areas are chasing them down every night in an attempt to keep them from coming into your so called safe areas. Appreciate their sacrifices and don't give this white Fucktard the time of day. Hey Kenneth! Love teh comments... Who else would say fucktard on here?

@ knee jerk. Although the upper limit IQ for officers is 105, the target IQ is between 94-98. TheRead More average IQ of a U.S. citizen is 100. Whenever you are speaking to a police officer, you are most likely speaking to someone with an IQ considerably Lower than your own. Please remember to speak slowly, always try to limit the amount of syllables in each word to less than three, and try not to laugh... Cuz They get Really Paranoid. Must be the drugs.

10 days for domestic battery and aggravated domestic battery? Wow. so much for being held to aRead More higher standard. Was he armed when he beat this girl in her house at 3 am? I thought preventing a victim from calling for help via phone incurred harsher penalties? What about the burglary charge?http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2013/05/03/suspended-frankfort-cop-facing-new-burglary-charge/

Does anything happen in Darien anymore?! I never see any articles about anything happening inRead More Darien, the Lion's Club pancake breakfast, the armed robberies at the gas stations, the 75th St. construction, city council budget, anything Darien related! How can you call this the Darien Patch when there is nothing about Darien in. Every other town or city has a Patch site that has articles related to their town. We get lazy editors who just copy and paste from other news sites.
Kelly O' March 30, 2014 at 06:17 pm
You don't have a lot of crime in Darien. Thank your lucky stars.
Dennis Robaugh (Editor) March 30, 2014 at 11:13 pm
@Bambi: OMGPD is a feature that recounts some of the more unusual crime stories in the Chicago-areaRead More suburbs. It's appeared weekly in your Deerfield Patch for about 2 years. @Adam West: I will email you directly with more information about Darien Patch, one of the Patches in the region that has been without a full-time editor for the last year.

Actually, today (April 4th) she WAS fired. However, I find it a great example of ridiculous unionRead More rules that it took them this long to do so.
Tom RS. April 5, 2014 at 09:13 am
She will have cost all us taxpayers a lot of money when this is all done. Millions in lawsuits andRead More probably a million plus in repairs to the system. I could be wrong, but maybe a little more training and evaluation needs to be implemented before someone is turned loose at the controls...

I guess that gives the homeowner more guts or reason to slam the door in people's faces but I am notRead More sure how that will deter a burglar from coming the door. A sign will not stop a criminal. People should do what they can to protect themselves and I would recommend a gun as a better deterrent.

*Looks like America is regressing to "the good old daze of the WILD, WILD WEST"! *Look atRead More me eye-to-eye and I will shoot you! *Look at me with a raised eyebrow and I will shoot you! *Look at me and smile and I will shoot you! *Accidentally bump into me on the sidewalk and I will shoot you! *Pass my car on the x-way and I will shoot you! *I believe IF all of these "gun toting paranoid individuals" would bother to actually read the original "right to bear arms" amendment - *That it reads "...the right to bear arms as part of a WELL REGULATED MILITIA"... *What is this "love affair" for carrying a gun? *What does it prove?

Arthur....the complaint about unions is that they defend employees such as her....she should haveRead More been fired the first time! She has people's lives in her hands....unions make it impossible to weed out bad employees...
Arthur Huff March 27, 2014 at 09:51 am
Deerfield, if it comes out that the union had a role in what happened in February being handled theRead More way it was then I'm right there with you. But we don't know that yet. All we know now is that the CTA handled it that way, we don't know why. For what it's worth, and I'm just pointing out facts for the sake of the discussion, in this crash and the one in New York it was a union official who told the press that the operator dozed off. Doesn't sound like they were trying to protect either of them, does it? In both of these cases they could just give us the standard "we are still trying to determine the cause blah blah blah" but in both cases they admitted right away that the driver was totally at fault. I'm not saying unions are perfect and don't obstruct weeding out bad employees, i.e teachers and tenure, but in this case we have no indication YET that it played a role.
Sue1 March 28, 2014 at 10:25 am
It would be interesting to get a copy of their contract. I would bet they have some sort ofRead More progressive discipline language in it, which would explain why she wasn't fired after the first incident.
