2012 General Election: Will County Board, District 2

Position Description

The Will County Board is the policy-making body for the county and is made up of 27 members, three representatives from nine districts. The board also represents the residents of unincorporated areas of Will County, such as those who live in Frankfort Square and Frankfort Township.

This year, there are 12 seats open for the election throughout the county. In District 2, which covers Frankfort and Frankfort Square, there are four candidates running in the Republican primary, two of them incumbents. Only one candidate is running unopposed in the Democratic primary.

Last year, district boundaries were redrawn for the board.

I liked Tuck's answers on the questionnaire. Cannot vote for either candidate who wouldn't take a few minutes to respond, shame on them. Imagine how responsive they would be once elected. Izzo made time to reply also so he is vote #2.

I just want to thank all my friends and neighbors who voted and supported me in my primary election victory to the Will County Board, District 2. I especially want to thank my wife, Regina and my children, David and Rachael, for being there when I really needed them. Lastly, I want to thank Jim Moustis and Dick Kavanagh for giving me the opportunity to serve everyone who resides in District 2. It is truly an honor to serve them. On to November!
