Love, Love, Love their pulled pork sandwiches. The meat is so tender and tasty with an all natural smoked flavor, it's just mouth watering delicious. I love that they give you 6 different sauces to choose from. Nothing can compare or even come close to the yummy goodness of the Smokey Barque Pulled Pork Sandwich in downtown Frankfort. THE BEST IN THE LINCOLNWAY AREA!!!!!!!
If you like smoked BBQ, this is the place! With six different BBQ sauces to select from, I couldn't make up my mind which one I like best -- Texas or Tennessee.
This place is awesome. Only place around here to get REAL BBQ. Love the sauces; North Carolina is my fav. The Alabama is cool & different too. Great slaw with just the right amount of vinegary bite. Do yourself a favor & get the hush puppies; so good. Nice selection of beers too.
My family loves this place! We try different things every time and have liked everything. The new and improved cornbread is awesome. Plus Jen and Adam are the best! I highly recommend Smokey Barque.
I ate there only once SO FAR and can't wait to go back. The food is excellent! The meat was so tender (I recommend the sliced brisket) and the owner had signature sides that made my tastebuds happy. I really liked watching them seat a family with 3 children. The family's kids were given crayons and paper ornaments to color to hang on the big Christmas tree in the center of the dining room. I loved everything about it and will absulutely be a regular!!
I moved from Texas quite a few years ago, and this place is a blast from the past. Authentic is right. Had a lot of good variety and tastes I hadn't tried before. Delish.
