It's all in the (Hannig) family at Curtain Call's Oliver!
Tim Hannig and his five children are all performing in Curtain Call Community Theatre's upcoming production of Oliver! this Jan 4, 5 , and 6 at Lincolnway East in Frankfort IL
When Tim Hannig leaves his home in Coal City, Il to head out to New Lenox or Frankfort for rehearsals with Curtain Call Community Theatre, he doesn't leave his kids behind. All five of Hannig's children are in the production with him. Hannig is currently playing orphanage master Mr. Bumble in the local production of Oliver!, which opens January 4th at Lincolnway East High School in Frankfort. His children each have a part, either as an orphan, a member of Fagin's gang, or in the children's chorus. "It makes rehearsals easier" notes Hannig, a veteran of the stage, award winning magician, and actor/producer of the popular ProKids show, "they are all in one place and doing something we all love to do" All five of the Hannig children are musically inclined, which comes as no surprise to anyone who has enjoyed Hannig's family friendly performances. It remains to be seen whether the sixth little Hannig, due this January, will join siblings and dad in a future production.
