The Fabulous Fifties
David Molinari with Joni Hoerger and Chuck Piper present "The Fabulous Fifties" from 1-2 p.m. Saturday at Mokena Public Library, 11327 195th St. David Molinari will present his presentation of music, fun facts and history of the 1950's American experience.
Fall Fishing Derby
New Lenox Community Park District is hosting a Free Fall Fishing Derby at Hibernia Park, 800 S. Anderson Road. Adults are scheduled from 8:30-9:30 a.m. and kids from 10-11 a.m.
Stewardship Work Day
Frankfort Square Park District is hosting its annual Stewardship Day, 9-11 .m. Saturday at Indian Prairie Nature Center, 7540 W. Braemar Lane, Frankfort.
Celebrating Starts of Tomorrow
New Lenox School District 122 Foundation Second Annual "Celebrating Stars of Tomorrow," 7-10 p.m. at the VFW, 323 Old Hickory Rd., is planned. Don't miss out on attending the Foundation's primary annual fundraiser. Tickets are $40 each and include hors d' oeuvres and open bar. They can be purchased at the District Office, 102 S. Cedar Road, each school office, andLincolnway Body Shop, 2202 Howell Drive.
Guns n' Hoses Charity Softball Game
New Lenox Fire Protection District and New Lenox Police Department will be competing in the 5th Annual Guns n' Hoses Charity softball game at 4 p.m. at the Lion's Den Fields, 520 S. Cedar Road, New Lenox. The sole mission of the event is to raise money and food for the New Lenox Food Pantry.
