Friday

Halloween Haunting

The Frankfort Park District is holding a Halloween Haunting at the Founders Community Center. The event at the 140 Oak Street facility starts at 6 p.m. Wristbands are $10 at the door and provide unlimited access to the haunted house, inflatables, fun fair games, hay ride, story time, 1 kid craft, 1 small pumpkin from the patch for the first 150 kids and 1 face painting.

Saturday

Free Hearing Screening

The Mokena Lions Club will have a free hearing screening from 8:30 a.m. till noon.

Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra

The Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra, led by Music Director David Danzmayr, opens its 36th Season with a Grammy award-studded concert program that continues the Orchestra’s commitment to pairing American music with classical masterworks. The Opening Night Concert begins at 8 pm at Lincoln-Way North Performing Arts Center, 19900 S. Harlem Avenue, Frankfort.

Sunday

Parents of Lincoln-Way Area Associated with Special Education

Parents of Lincoln-Way Area Associated with Special Education will be at 11:30 a.m. in the Mokena Elementary School-Multi Purpose Room, 11244 Willowcrest Lane.
