What Do Christianity, Islam and Judaism Have in Common?
Weight loss surgery, fiction, comics, a blood drive and other things to do this week in Mokena, Frankfort and New Lenox.
The Frankfort Public Library will be kicking off a new discussion series with a talk about what the big three religions have in common.
The book discussed is F.E. Peter’s “The Children of Abraham: Judaism, Christianity and Islam.” Dr. Scott Alexander, Associate Professor of Islam and Director of the Catholic-Muslim Studies Program at Catholic Theological Union, Chicago, will be leading the talk.
The event will be held 7 p.m. Thursday at the Frankfort Public Library, 21119 S. Pfeiffer Road.
