Silver Cross Appoints 3 New Members to the Foundation Board

The Silver Cross Foundation recently appointed three new members to its Board of Directors - Craig Czerkies, Chip Krusemark, and John Quinn.

“We are honored to have such accomplished business leaders and community-minded individuals to join our Foundation Board of Directors,” said Larry Johnson, Vice President of the Foundation at Silver Cross Hospital. “Through their guidance, Silver Cross Hospital will continue its initiative to bring state-of-the-art exceptional healthcare services to area residents.”

Craig Czerkies 
is a partner at several family-owned, real estate companies based in Plainfield, IL  that includes Czerkies Limited Partnership, Czerkies Limited Partnership II, Czerkies Properties One, and CDS Property Group. Czerkies partnership’s are privately owned, engaged primarily in the development, acquisition, and long-term ownership of income producing commercial and agricultural properties and future development parcels in Illinois and Colorado.
Czerkies grew up in the Joliet area and graduated from Joliet Catholic High School. He also graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and received his MBA from Lewis University. He is the organizer of the annual Carolyn Czerkies Memorial Golf Outing to benefit the International Myeloma Foundation. He resides in Naperville with his wife and son.

Chip Krusemark
 is Vice President/Director of Operations for Himes Associates, Ltd., providing owner's representation services in real estate development management, design and construction management, project and program management and relocation management. Krusemark received his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Illinois State University and Minor in Economics and Real Estate from the University of Illinois. 

He currently volunteers with the American Cancer Society; is a Board Member, past President and Vice President for the Frankfort School District 157C; and Board Member for the Frankfort Preservation Foundation. Krusemark resides in Frankfort with his wife.

John Quinn
 is the Director of External Affairs for AT&T in the far Southwest Suburban and East Central Counties in Illinois. Quinn currently serves or has served as a Board Member for the Will County Center for Economic Development, Joliet City Center Partnership, Vermilion Advantage, Community and Economic Development Foundation of Ford County, and Big Ten Football Officials Association.

He volunteers time with the United Way of Will County Programs and Allocations, Will County Chamber Government Affairs, Misericordia, Big Brothers Big Sisters and AT&T Pioneers. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois - Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Quinn resides in Homer Glen with his wife and three children. Czerkies, Krusemark, and Quinn join the other 16 members of the Silver Cross Foundation Board of Directors.
