Cheerleaders, Police Give to Food Pantry This Holiday

Two groups help stock the shelves at the food pantry this month with donations.

The recently received some help stocking itself this holiday season from two local organizations.

On Dec. 15, the Frankfort Falcons Lightweight Blue Cheerleading squad dropped off food items that were donated at its end-of-year banquet Dec. 12. The items were donated in honor of the girls' coaches.

The also collected food donations for the pantry, picking up items from Frankfort residents, as well as accepting donations at police headquarters. Commander Kevin Keegan said Officer Leanne Bender was instrumental in the program, and he thanked the cadets who volunteered their time to pick up the donations.
