Multiple Sclerosis Benefit Wants Laughter to be Best Medicine

Proceeds from a comedy fundraiser Friday, June 29, at CD & ME will help a South Suburban MS support group. Learn more about one of the organizers, the talent and the event.

Dean Vaundry and Chuck JaBaay, the owners of , and Sylvia Kemp, a South Suburban woman known for her work fighting multiple scleroisis, both personally and profession, have come together to raise money to help those suffering from the disease.

Stand Up for MS is a fundraiser Friday, June 29, at CD & ME that will feature a night of comedy with three comedians with Lincoln-Way roots. The proeceeds from ticket sales will go to MS: Mission Possible, a local multiple sclerosis support group that Kemp helps run.
