Last Chance to Clean Up Village for Earth Day

Help make Frankfort beautiful by picking up trash and planting flowers around town Saturday, April 21.

Celebrate Earth Day by doing something positive in your own backyard.

The is holding its annual Earth Day/Arbor Day Celebration on Saturday, April 21, inviting residents to help clean up around the village as well as planting flowers around town.

And after you're done giving Frankfort a spring makeover, you can head to the Utilities/Public Works Facility for a volunteer lunch at 11:30 a.m.

The deadline: 8:30 a.m. Saturday, April 21. Individuals and families should go to the Utilities/Public Works Facility, 524 Center Road, at that time--or as early as 8:15 a.m.--to sign up. Large groups should call Mary Canino before Saturday at 815-469-2177 in order to sign up.
