Special Events

: The market will hold the second of its special cooking seminars with Holly Froning at 11 a.m. Sunday, May 27, along Oak Street. Each session is from 45 to 60 minutes long, and this seminar is on herbs. The country market is in the parking lot and the Fra-Milco Cabinet Co. parking lot on Oak Street.

Frankfort Memorial Day Ceremony: The village celebrates Memorial Day with a special ceremony on at 10 a.m. Monday, May 28. The event is sponsored by and , and the Tiger Band will perform.

Sales and Deals

: Receive 15 percent off merchandise in the entire store Friday, May 25, and Saturday, May 26 (the store is closed Sunday, May 27, and Monday, May 28).

Fiancée Couture: The bridal boutique's spring sale is winding down with up to 30 percent savings on select dresses and gowns. The sales ends when May does.

: The children's clothing shop holds its Red, White and Blue Sale, with all items in the store red, white and blue on sale. The store has other storewide savings on hair accessories, Charm It charms (buy three, get one free) and other merchandise. The sale ends Sunday, May 27.

: The sports bar has deals throughout the weekend, like $9 vodka lemonade pitchers, John Daly pitchers and margarita pitchers. The Wild Rover also will be serving ribs all weekend. The fun begins Friday, May 25.

Splashes

: , the Patch Readers' Choice winner for favorite park, opens its Splash Park on Saturday, May 26, and Sunday, May 27, and celebrates with free admission. Hours are:

  • Monday-Saturday: 10 a.m.-noon; 12:30-2:30 p.m.; 3-5 p.m.
  • Sunday: 10 a.m.-noon; 12:30-2:30 p.m.

For safety reasons, sessions are limited 60 people.

Frankfort Square Park District: The Splash Park at the district's also opens for the season Saturday, May 26. Admission is $1 and $5 for nonresidents. Kids 3-years-old and younger are free.
