I Know What You Did This Summer: Share Your Bluegrass Fest, 4th of July Photos

We have some catching up to do.

In order to get the voting going for the Favorite Frankfort Summer Photo for June (DON'T FORGET: Deadline to vote is 5 p.m. Monday, July 16), we skipped a week for the I Know What You Did This Summer weekly photo gallery. But we're back on track now, which means we need your pictures, especially from the Fourth of July and this past weekend's Frankfort Bluegrass Festival on .

The photos selected in this round will be entered in the next reader poll to pick the best photo of the month. Read below to see what the winning photographer gets if his or her photo is chosen.

Now it's your turn. Here's what you need to do to post your pictures for the weekly I Know What You Did This Summer weekly photo gallery:

• Photograph you, your friends and/or family enjoying the summer months in Frankfort. It can be out one Sunday evening at . Maybe it's while you're listening to one of the headlining musical acts at the . And yes, it can just be of your kids in the backyard, enjoying the Slip 'n Slide. The only requirements are that it's from this summer (Memorial Day to Labor Day of 2012) and that it shows you doing something in Frankfort. (Note to businesses and village organizations: You can submit your photos from events you organized or sponsored as well.)
• Post your photos in Frankfort Patch's Neighborhood Gallery (you can find it by clicking on the Pics and Clips tab on the homepage) by the deadline each week to be considered in that week (if it's past the deadline, it will be entered for the following week). Make sure your name is in the caption along with what where you're at and what you're doing.

And that's it. Pretty simple, huh?

I will feature one to three winning photos, and those photographers will receive some Patch merchandise (either a T-shirt, sunglasses, water bottle, etc.). These photos also will be entered in an end-of-the-month contest, with the winning photo being printed out and framed for the owner. And those three photos will compete for the title of Favorite Frankfort Summer Photo, to be determined by Frankfort Patch readers.
