Frankfort Couple Named Grand Marshals for Fall Fest Parade

John and Judy Herder were introduced as the grand marshals of Frankfort Fall Festival's 2012 Labor Day Parade during Sunday's Concerts on the Green event.

In more than 30 years living in Frankfort, John and Judy Herder have built a formidable reputation for their volunteerism throughout the community.

But all that volunteering, however, has meant helping out the village in individual roles.

That's why being named grand marshals for the Frankfort Fall Festival 2012 Labor Day is a doubly special honor. Not only odes it underscore the couple's community service—a criteria for choosing the grand marshal—the honor also is something they can share together.
