Fall Fest Earns Top 10 Ranking Among National Craft Shows

Craft show trade magazine Sunshine Artist ranked the Frankfort Fall Festival no. 6 among classic and contemporary in the country in its September issue.

The Fall Festival ranked no. 6 in Sunshine Artist magazine's 2012 listing of top 200 classic and contemporary craft shows in the United States.

The festival has been in the top 10 of the magazine's annual rankings for the past two years, earning the no. 4 spot in 2010 and the no. 7 spot in 2012. The rankings are voted on by craft exhibitors and artists who attend festivals and shows around the country.

"This improvement could be a sign of even better things to come for the Illinois tradition, which is its home state's highest-ranking craft show," the magazine wrote in its September issue, which was recently published.

The 2012 Frankfort Fall Festival runs Labor Day weekend—Sept. 1 to Sept. 3—in downtown Frankfort.
