If we had to choose between a fireworks show and a thunderstorm when it comes to pure grandeur, we'd go with Mother Nature each time.
It's been dry in the south suburbs lately, with very little in the way of even a slight drizzle let alone a full-bore summer storm, complete with roof-shaking thunder and dazzling lightning flashes.
