VIDEO: Frankfort Baseball's Opening Night Ceremonies Honor Patrick Mizwicki

Friday's event at Main Park in Frankfort was highlighted by the unfurling of a banner that will hang in the park for the season.

This year's Opening Night ceremonies for Frankfort Baseball on Friday, April 27, at not only celebrated the beginning of the upcoming season, it also celebrated the memory of one of the league's players.

. On Friday, Frankfort Eagle teammates of the late New Lenox teen unfurled a banner that will be on display at the park throughout the season. They also wore jerseys with the number 5 on the sleeve, which was Mizwicki's number when he played. That number also will be retired for the season for all teams in Frankfort Baseball.
