Justin Morris' strong play at the net helped Lincoln-Way North notch a thrilling three-set boys volleyball victory over district rival Lincoln-Way Central.

Justin Morris' hitting led the Phoenix to a 17-25, 25-22, 25-21 victory. Morris finished with a team-high 14 kills. Zak Erdmann dished out 31 assists, and Ryan McFarland added 10 digs.

"Our guys competed well," Lincoln-Way North coach Matt Lawrence said. "They came with a lot of energy. I'm proud of them. Lincoln-Way Central is a good team."

The Knights' Brad Foster racked up eight kills and five blocks. Sean Blackwood chipped in seven kills, and Matt Dugan finished with 17 assists.

"We had hard time stopping Justin Morris," Central  coach Joann Holverson said.
