It's another thing to fall short when you feel like you left part of your 'A' game in the gym bag. That's what happened to the Lincoln-Way East boys volleyball team in a recent 25-16, 25-18 loss to rival Sandburg.
Both teams are highly ranked. On the East side, there was a feeling of an opportunity missed. Timid play, average defense. You name it.
