Young Lincoln-Way co-op boys lacrosse team falls in recent matchup vs. Homewood-Flossmoor.

The Lincoln-Way co-op lacrosse team played host to Homewood-Flosmoor recently at the L-W North campus. L-Way is young, in its first year as a varsity program, and has only three seniors on the roster. Not surprisingly, L-Way fell to the more experienced Vikings 13-3.

Sophomore Austin Hyatt scored two of L-Way's goals. Derek Lear scored the third goal late in the game.

The team's coach, Todd Hyatt, said, "We were never able to get our boys playing well together. We just had a tough time coming back from having a week off for spring break. In the up coming two weeks, we have six game to get us ready for the playoffs. We better use the time wisely."
