Golf Expo Returns to Tinley Park Convention Center

Golfers are invited to escape the cold and daydream about days on the links.

Golf enthusiasts throughout Chicagoland can escape the frigid outdoor temperatures and prepare for the upcoming golf season at the Tinley Park Golf Expo from Friday, Feb. 7, to Sunday, Feb. 9. The third annual Expo, which is presented by Global Golf Post, will be held at the Tinley Park Convention Center just north of Interstate 80 and Harlem Avenue in Tinley Park.

Attendees can shop the newest golf clubs, bags, shoes, clothing, accessories and more for the 2014 golf season, but will also be able to test many of the products in the Expo’s spacious demo area. Local and regional golf courses and resorts will offer attendees discounted rates on rounds of golf for the upcoming season. PGA professionals will provide free instruction to help attendees improve their techniques. Children can test out their skills in the Junior Learning Center hosted by The First Tee of Greater Chicago.

Since last year, the Tinley Park Golf Expo has partnered with and donated a portion of its proceeds to The First Tee of Greater Chicago, a charity that teaches children life skills through the game of golf. Donations from the Tinley Park Golf Expo’s Long Drive and Long Putt contests will directly benefit the charity.
