Vote for L-W East in Comcast's Battle of the Fans Madness

The Griffins are one of 16 high schools competing for the title of best student section in the area. Find out how you can show your support and put L-W East on top.

Griffin fans can show their support for by voting in Comcast’s second annual Battle of the Fans Madness tournament.

L-W East is one of 16 area schools chosen based on the enthusiasm of its student section throughout the basketball season this year. The schools will be narrowed down each week, with the winning student section being crowned April 2. The first round of voting runs from Monday, March 12, through Sunday, March 18.

Fans can go to Comcast's 2012 Battle of the Fans Madness website to vote for the Griffins so they can advance to the second round. Winners will be announced there and on the competition's Facebook page.

The other area schools competing include: Conant, Glenbard East, Glenbrook North, Huntley, Marist, Mundelein, Niles North, Oak Park-River Forest, Plainfield East, Schaumburg, Simeon, St. Charles East, St. Charles North, St. Rita and defending champion Warren Township.
