Summit Hill Jr. High Cheerleaders Best in State

The Summit Hill Junior High School cheerleaders won the state championship.

From Summit Hill Junior High School:

The Summit Hill Junior High competition cheerleaders have competed in three competitions in 2013 and two so far this year.

The cheerleaders competed at Lincoln-Way North finished second, Bolingbrook High School where they finished third and qualified for the ICCA State Competition at Andrew High School where they again finished second.

They competed at the ICCA State competition in early January and finished third.

The Spartan Cheerleaders went on to win the IESA State competition. The Summit Hill Spartan Cheerleaders were also state championships in 2011 and 2013.

The cheerleaders were coached by Amber Ostrowski and assisted by Lisa Carlson.
