McAllister Resigns as L-W West Boys Soccer Coach

Ryan McAllister has been West's boys soccer head coach since the school opened in 2009.

Ryan McAllister has resigned as  boys soccer head coach, said Deputy Superintendent Thomas Eddy at Thursday's Lincoln-Way High School District 210 board meeting. His resignation is effective for the 2011-12 school year.

Eddy did not say at the meeting why McAllister was stepping down. D210 director of community relations Stacy Holland said wasn't sure of the circumstances behind the coach's departure but said he would continue teaching at West.

McAllister, a former assistant coach under , has been the West's boys soccer head coach since the school opened in 2009. Going into the 2010-11 season, McAllister's record with the team was 8-32, and .
