Whiz Kid's Name and Grade: Kenichi Haynie, eighth grade

Whiz Kid's Accomplishment: Kenichi was part of the Mathletes team that placed first overall against eight other schools. The students took first place in both the team and relay competitions, and second in the Mental Math event. Other members of the eighth grade Mathletes team include: Michael Enright, Austin Blair, Daniel Stolarek, Holly Podborny, Brianna McKenna and Natalie McCray.
Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness: Kenichi also has earned a 4.0 grade point average, was on the school's baseball team, is a member of the Tiger and jazz bands, participated in the School Leadership Conference last year and y this year.
