Frankfort School District 157-C Elects Officers

New officers were elected to serve a term of office.

At the regular Frankfort School District 157-C Board of Education meeting held on May 6, the Board recognized outgoing Board Secretary Jean Stanker.

On behalf of the Board, Vice President Patrick Usher acknowledged Jean Stanker for her term of service to the Board.

While outgoing Board President Brian Klene was unable to attend, Nancy Neuzil, communications director, said the board passed a resolution of appreciation for both outgoing board members.Member Thomas Hurlburt presented a proclamation to Stanker for her years of service as a member of the District 157-C Board of Education.

 The Board elected:

  • Christopher McFadden as President
  • Patrick Usher as Vice President
  • Edie Adamski as Secretary

Neuzil said Usher will serve as the board's representative for Lincoln-Way Area Special Education District 843, with Mike Turner as alternate. Meanwhile, Briese is the representative for the Frankfort Township Planning Committee, with Sasso as alternate.

In addition, Sasso is the representative for the Illinois Association of School Boards, and Adamski is the hearing officer.
